Hotel & Accommodation
Surrounded by 27 acres of kitchen gardens, orchard, and wiltshire countryside, bishopstrow house was built in 1817 on the banks of the river wylde. It is now a picturesque country house hotel with 32 rooms and suites that have been renovated to sympathetically incorporate contemporary design with the original features and the elegant charm the place exudes.
Having trained with the good and the great of modern cooking, from michael kitts to albert roux, award winning head chef, andy britton, oversees the mulberry restaurant at the hotel. With a focus on ensuring that everything on the menu is fresh, from the bread to the ice cream, there is an a la carte menu as well as a less formal, all day dining menu in the conservatory and a children’s high tea is served daily from 5-7pm.
