It isn’t all chilling out by the pool though, there is a gym as well as classes including yoga, tai chi, pilates, physio-flex, tennis, golf, croquet, jogging trails, beach walks and personal training ‘buddies’ – which makes working out all the more friendly.

This all sits alongside the newly refurbished sophisticated pool hall. The pool hall contains a 17-metre lap pool, a hydrotherapy pool with 13 jet stations to ease muscle aches and pains, a communal steam room, an outdoor whirlpool and drench showers. Each changing room boasts a 10-seater sauna and an amethyst crystal steam room.

There are 12 treatment rooms including a couples’ suite with a private steam room. Skincare comes courtesy of ren products, and the nail studio offers mii manicures and pedicures with gel as an optional choice. Treatments themselves are thanks to working partnerships with oskia and natura bisse.
