Soholistic spa is the ham yard hotel’s sumptuous retreat for the world, offering rest, relaxation and abundant pampering. Small and perfectly formed, the tranquil space combines artful features with beautiful fabrics and style in a departure from typical spa decor. It’s individual and tantalising - somewhere you can happily sit and watch the world around you all day. There are two individual rooms and a double treatment room, along with a relaxation area, steam room and showers, fully equipped gym and changing rooms.
Like its siblings within the firmdale hotel collection, ham yard hotel has partnered with temple spa, the british spa product lined based on a love of mediterranean lifestyle and ingredients. With that in mind, they offer a beautiful collection of treatments created to combat the stresses and strains of everyday life, and with an emphasis on aromatherapy and luxury wellbeing. There’s also a dedicated nail bar, which is absolutely somewhere you will want to take your time, with its comfy chairs and convivial style.
Hotel & Accommodation
One of london’s most exclusive and stylish hotels, ham yard hotel in mayfair has an urban village feel and is characterised by its achingly beautiful design throughout, courtesy of celebrating british interior designer, kit kemp. The hotel revolves around a tree-filled garden with a bronze sculpture centrepiece by tony cragg. In addition to its 91 individually designed bedrooms and suites, there are 24 apartments within the ‘village’ and 13 independent stores featuring exquisite products and retailers. Luxury here is very much in the details - the colour choices, the carefully chosen fabrics, the artwork - all trademarks of kemp’s style. Together they create a deliciously luxe feeling of grandeur and relaxation. Each room is generously sized and features floor-to ceiling-length windows overlooking the leafy courtyard or across the london skyline. Kit kemp even has her own range of toiletries, which are in situ in the bathrooms. Little wonder it’s a favourite for romantic mini breaks, but also a treat that you deserve to keep all to yourself.
The ham yard hotel is very much a place where you just want to ‘be’, not least in the various places to eat and drink. The restaurant and bar follow the stylish theme of rich fabrics and carefully coordinated design as well as an outdoor dining area. Meanwhile, the menu is seasonal and focuses on british produce. The bar offers a carefully created cocktail list, specially selected wines and a menu of delicious small plates to nibble on throughout the day. Other features also include a drawing room, a library, a rooftop terrace, a theatre, private event rooms and the hotel’s very own bowling alley.
