The Malvern
The Malvern
Because of its natural spring waters, the worcester town of malvern is known as a spa town, so it’s only appropriate that it plays home to the malvern hotel, spa and health club. Embracing its heritage, the venue offers a wide range of facilities including a 20 metre indoor/outdoor pool that remains at a constant and optimum (by hydrotherapy standards) 35⁰ c, a thermal suite (that is to say herb sauna, steam room and hydrotherapy pool) and a gym.

Once you have spent a little time settling into your surroundings, it’s on to the treatments using elemis, vynylux & cnd shellac nail products. The malvern offers facials, massages, scrubs, and wraps, non-surgical caci treatments, and finishing touches.
Hotel & Accommodation
With 33 rooms, each sporting a neutral colour palette and contemporary design accented with a feature colour, the hotel was the first spa in malvern in 1910 and is very much a destination designed for ‘grown-ups’ – that will explain the predominantly off-white soft furnishings then.
There are two dining options – both elaborate, but one a little more formal than the other. The malvern restaurant is open for afternoon tea and evening meals and is very much the fine dining option providing a seasonal menu overseen by chris von landkammer; while the glass atrium that is the grand salon is characterised by 200 year old olive trees and is open throughout the day as the final feather in the spa’s cap.
