But we're going to stay away from the generational politics and the 'economic' consequences of the matter and simply retort: "what's not to love?"

Avos are versatile and delicious fruits that you can add to anything. They are a great source of healthy fats, and they are nutritious. And yes, you read that right, Avocados are fruits. Their flavour and texture are so good for any kind of recipe you have in mind - sweet or savoury.

So there's enough reason why we're obsessed with this tasty baby. While you may already know the basic health facts and the best guacamole recipe, there are ten more reasons why this tropical fruit is the best.

1.    Avocados are considered berries. What was once referred to as vegetables, Avocados are actually fruits.

2.    They originated in Central America and Mexico.


3.    Evidence shows that ancient civilizations have been using avocados for food and medical purposes for over 10,000 years.

4.    The Aztecs consider Avocados as the symbol of love and fertility. They only grow in pairs and cannot reproduce on their own.


5.    Avocados can stay on its tree for as long as 18 months. They only ripen when they are removed from their branch.

6.    Many countries from Brazil to the Philippines take avocado as sweet fruit. In the former, they are eaten with ice cream. For the latter, avocados are taken as a fruit shake with milk and ice.


7.    Avocados are the healthiest fat substitute in baking. Replace butter and oils with avocado.

This mask is perfect for hair types that need hydration. Avo banana semi thick mask is applied to hair, left to nourish & condition and then rinsed out. It helps to deeply repair and hydrate hair that’s prone to dryness and damage. It also promote hair growth as well as help in preventing hair breakage. I love adding little olive oil to this mask for extra soft, glossy hair🙈. INGREDIENTS: 🥑 1 small avocado 🥑 1 ripe banana 🥑 1-2 tablespoons olive oil DIRECTIONS: 🥣 Toss all the ingredients into a high speed blender and blend away. 🥣 Wet your hair with water and start applying the hair mask from the scalp moving downwards to the ends. 🥣 Massage the mixture on your scalp using fingers for at least 5 minutes. 🥣 Tie up your hair and let it sit for 50 minutes. 🥣 Rinse with lukewarm water and wash hair with chemical free shampoo of choice. Repeat shampoo if necessary.
